It is good that some help is directed to the homeless, however if you do the math on this they spent $3.1 million dollars for 30 cottages of 150 Sq ft each.<br />This comes to an astonishing $688 a sq foot.(not including the kitchen/shower building) Houses in Thurston county sub divisions are less than $200. sq ft and that covers the neighborhood infrastructure AND the land. Maybe I am missing something, but for that kind of money I would have hoped they could have figured out a way to house more than just 30 people. If you do another piece find out where all the money (some of it public) went.<br />It might be cheaper to buy mansions in Beverly Hills California and fill them up with the homeless.<br />Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
